If you’re ever in this neck of the woods, I strongly encourage you to come check out Mazatlan family restaurant. Both food and service were excellent, super-friendly staff here. The atmosphere is somewhat basic, but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. I had the street tacos, and my wife had the chicken chimichanga. We finished off our meal with probably the best churros I’ve her had (and I’ve had them MANY times). Highly recommend!!!

Me and my husband Jesse Sierra are from California and only been in NC for a few years , our little family has tried all places and on Halloween 2024 we finally found a good place . My mom would of loved this place rip. I wish I could give more stars every thing perfect and service was great and our server was absolutely awesome with humor and kindness . We will be back . Got to say this probably one of my favorite Mexicans restaurants ever, have been here many time within the past 6 years and foods here never failed on me! As it suggested by my Mexican friends the tacos here is authentic and amazing flavor, personally I love the Ai pastor the most! But what really surprised me is the tilapia they fried in whole with the flavor of lemon pepper! Had this dish for my last meal, and I am surely impressed by this unique taste especially when you tried it with fresh corn tortillas, the fish skin was crunch and the meat was fried super tender. And I have to say the people here in Mazatlan are also amazing as food they serve! I felt the passion and kindness every time I step into this place! Definitely gonna miss this place, both authentic food and amazing people! Highly suggested!

Best Mexican restaurant in the area, possibly in the entire state! They just revamped their menu and it is off the charts! Excellent service....literally the nicest people! Such a joy to eat here

When you are looking for the definition of a family Mexican restaurant, this is it. In the level of service (half of the staff stopped in to check on us and were all very friendly), the style of food, and the way the place feels, this was an amazingly positive experience. I would highly recommend this establishment.

This was our first visit here, and I have to say the staff is super friendly everyone there is very nice and attentive. The owner itself talked to us for several minutes . Our waiter. Made sure we were taken care of well as far as drinks and food. The food itself is very tasty well seasoned my husband and I both enjoyed it very much and we will be back to try some other items of the menu I would highly recommend it.
